My Travels!
So, They were only around a very small part of England, but still a lot of fun!
I spent the week with Carl in Leeds which was very nice- spent lots of time wondering around Leeds which led to the purchase of a new coat, dress, top, belt and socks! Also went to a gig in the student union which featured Jinzena and The Shadow Orchestra. Both were very good and a bit different which is always nice. Hello to the cool drummer from Jinzena who spoke to us afterwards! Oh, and we ate potato waffles in vast quantities!

After Leeds I took a train down to Leicester to stay with Katherine and Sally and had a wonderful weekend. They've only been gone 6 weeks but it feels like a lot longer so it was great to see them. We went out on Saturday night to Mosh (think Waterfront's Meltdown, but 3 floors all playing slightly different stuff) and it was just like the good old days of Saturday nights down the 'front! Sunday was spent recovering (again bringing a sense of de ja vu), and, after a brief tour of the uni and its amazing Paternoster, I got the train back to Norwich.

Since then I've worked everyday and have done a few new places; Plastic Surgery out patient clinic, Langley Ward, Coltishall Ward (also plastic surgery) where I realised after some conversation that one of the patients was the great-grandmother of someone I've known for years, and Priscilla Bacon Lodge, which is a hospice/rehab place for cancer patients. The later was quite different to other places I've worked, but was very enjoyable so I have signed up to their nurse bank (they have their own and only use the N&N one when they can't get someone from theirs), so I should be getting some more shifts there.
Today I yet again defied dealing with death- the staff nurse suggested I go and assist someone working on the other half of the ward doing last offices (code for sorting out the body), but when I asked she had already done it.

I'm only working 25 hours this week, so I might get something other than work done, which means you may have the pleasure of another post in the next few days! (That is if I can find something other than death to talk about!)
