This is the worst sunday I've ever had
No, blogger isn't being silly, I am actually posting this at 4am! Just to add to the fun I'm at work and a 93 year old is shouting at me to get out of her kitchen, that this is the worst Sunday she's ever had and telling me I'm an rotten old pig... oh, hang on... sorry, I've just been upgraded to a little bugger! This would all be alot more fun if I hadn't spent the day travelling back from Plymouth. I spent the weekend there staying with a friend, looking around the uni and experiencing life as a real student. Went out on Friday night in celebration of my birthday, which, for what I can remember of it, was alot of fun! After about 11 is just a blur of shots, funny flavoured drinks and stumbling home with Matt who was even more drunk than me! Have been feeling hungover ever since so it must have been *Old lady is now telling me off for stealing her dinner* a good night! *Need to check that another old lady is still breathing- she is*. The uni was pretty cool, not as impressive as Leeds or even the UEA, as the student union is virtually non-existent and the library is also a bit on the small side, but that it makes up for it by being next to the sea and the fact that they accept resit students! Journey home wasn't great but wasn't that bad either. Got a bit of sleep but really not enough to get me through a night shift, so I have had to resort to a cocktail of chocolate, tea and coffee, and after feeling rubbish for several hours it's all kicked in at once, so I'm bouncing off the walls! Only 2.5 hours to go now and I will have survived my first night shift! Same again tomorrow night which should be even more fun, then back on days for the rest of the week! *Old man is being sick* In conclusion, I love my job! 1:48 AM Comment (1) ... PermaLink |
